Welcome to Hermitage Community Secondary School and Vocational Centre
Hermitage Community Secondary School and Vocational Centre is a Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) founded institution dedicated to providing quality, holistic, and values-based education. The school was founded by Mr. Kyaterekera Daniel, the current Director, with the vision of nurturing learners who are academically competent, morally upright, spiritually grounded, and equipped with practical skills for life. Located in Butanza, Wobulenzi, Luweero District, Uganda, the school provides a safe, supportive, and inspiring learning environment for both boys and girls. We operate as a mixed day and boarding school, welcoming students from diverse backgrounds and helping them achieve their full potential.
Our Academic Programmes
We offer a comprehensive curriculum at both Ordinary Level (O-Level) and Advanced Level (A-Level), with a strong emphasis on academic excellence in both Science and Arts subjects. Our experienced and dedicated teaching staff are committed to guiding every learner toward success in national examinations and beyond.
Vocational Training
In addition to academic education, we provide practical vocational training that prepares students with employable skills and promotes self-reliance. Our vocational programmes include:

Who We Are
We are the Hermitage Edutech Club, a student-led innovation and technology club from Hermitage Community Secondary School and Vocational Center in Butanza–Wobulenzi, Luweero.
Our club is made up of passionate learners who are interested in using technology, creativity, and collaboration to solve real-world problems and inspire positive change in our community.
We created Digital Discipleship as a platform to combine learning, faith-based values, and digital skills to guide young people into responsible and meaningful use of technology.

Our Story
The Hermitage Edutech Club was formed out of a shared desire among students and teachers to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world digital skills.
As technology continues to shape education, communication, and careers, we realized the importance of equipping students with practical ICT knowledge. From small classroom projects and coding experiments to collaborative tech activities, our journey has grown into a movement of learners who believe that technology can transform lives.
This is how Digital Discipleship was born—a space where learning meets purpose, and where students grow not only in skills but also in values.
What We Offer
Through Digital Discipleship and our club activities, we provide:
